At Storybook Tails Rescue Ranch, we’re looking for compassionate individuals who want to do more than just visit we’re looking for people who want to show up, build trust, and become a steady, familiar presence for dogs who need it most.
This isn’t just volunteering.

More Than Just a Visit… It’s a Relationship
Many of our rescue dogs come from high kill shelters. What they need most isn’t just a walk it’s someone who shows up again and again.
As part of this program, you’ll spend real, uninterrupted time with a dog on our beautiful farm:
- Peaceful fulfilling walk through our 26-acre farm
- Exploring open land and peaceful spaces together
- Visiting our on-property parks designed for play and freedom
- Sitting, bonding, and simply being present
- Two acre pond for them to play in a and you to relax by
- Private stream the property dogs and play in
Along the way, you’ll also experience the beauty of the farm surrounded by rescued animals, nature, and a mission rooted in compassion.

How To Get Started
Because we are not open to the public, all involvement begins with a quick application.
1. Complete the Application:
Fill out the form with your information and how you’d like to get involved.
2. We Review & Connect:
Our team will review your application and reach out within 24–48 hours to discuss next steps and fit.
3. Get Started on the Farm:
Once approved, you’ll be scheduled and welcomed for an orientation and training and begin volunteer experience to help make a real impact.
